The journalist Nancy Nicolson visited the farms on Monday 17th June 2019 to record an interview with Davy McCracken and Philip Skuce of Moredun Research Institute. Farming Today was running a series of articles during the week of 24th June focussed on farmland birds. Nancy recorded a piece for this series focussed on the wading bird wader scrapes that have been created on the farms under the Agri Environment & Climate Scheme (AECS) and the work that Moredun is doing on those scrapes to investigate liver fluke risk from wetlands on farms
